The Big Plan

Welcome, welcome.  You’ve arrived in Antigua, made it from the airport to your hotel and can’t remember a single location for any of the events of the week.  No worries, it’s all here.

Thursday - Thanksgiving

Nothing formal is scheduled — the Baker clan are doing a turkey dinner at the Admiral’s Inn hotel.  Most will have just arrived that day.  The Swedes, Italians, Argentinians and probably a few British will do a dinner at the St. James Hotel.  And there is the Villa where Bill is planning on chef’ing up a traditional meal.

Christina and I are going to get paragliders and fly between the three until afterward when I’m sure afterward everyone will probably find their way over to the Officer’s Quarters or some other spot since the likelihood of any of the hotels having comfortable couches and big screen TVs showing college football is minimal.  Welcome to the islands.

Friday - Rehearsal Dinner

On the Terrace at The Inn at English Harbour.  This is also a short cab ride from Nelson’s Dockyard or the St. James.

Saturday - Wedding Party

The wedding ceremony will be at the Admiral’s Inn at English harbour at 3 pm.

The reception is a little walk or shorter cab ride over to Falmouth Harbour to the Antigua Yacht Club Marina Restaurant.

Sunday - Island Tradition
On Sunday people that feel like it are welcome to join us at Shirley Heights where the traditional Antiguan music celebration will be happening.

Following Week

Antigua Charter Boat Show kicks off on December 4th for all the European’s that couldn’t imagine leaving home without taking a week.  Or two.
